Amanda AI is an AI platform that creates, tests and optimizes paid ad campaigns on Google, Meta and Bing, run by a real company operating since 2018. The question this review turns on is not whether it works — its case studies and Google Partner badge suggest it does — but who can afford to make the economics work.
Our rating: 3.5 out of 5. Reviewed August 2026.

Amanda AI is a real, long-running company, not a landing page bolted onto an API call. It has run since 2018, manages 1,800+ ad accounts, holds a Google Partner badge we verified directly with Google, and its case studies name checkable clients — Toyota Denmark, a joint study with L'Oréal and WPP Media. Pricing is public, which is rarer in ad-tech than it should be.
The reservation is pure arithmetic. The entry Pilot tier costs €199/mo and caps ad spend at €1,000/mo — meaning the software fee alone is up to 19.9% of the entire ad budget it allows, before Google or Meta take a cut. That ratio falls to roughly 9% at the mid tier and under 4% at the top tier, which is precisely the point: this product only makes financial sense once the ad budget behind it is already large. For most solopreneurs and small businesses, it is not the right shape of tool yet.
Founded in 2018 by Torkel Öhman and Göran Palm, Amanda AI predates the current wave of "AI marketing" tools by several years, built for a narrower job: automating the repetitive optimization work of paid search and social advertising.
The company reports 500+ businesses on the platform across 1,800+ ad accounts, 50+ countries and 4 continents. Its case studies name real clients: Toyota Denmark saw car sales grow 17% year over year with conversions up 65%, while cutting ad spend by 20%; Verktygsboden, a hardware tools retailer, reports a 106% to 2,267% ROAS improvement since October 2023, on the same budget it started with.
A weekly AI report is generated for every account — Amanda AI states it is written by Claude, Anthropic's model — covering keywords, competitor movement, budget decisions and strategic takeaways. The platform claims 130,000 optimizations daily on average across its managed accounts.

Every plan bundles a fixed software fee with a ceiling on ad spend. Pilot: €199/mo, ad spend capped at €1,000/mo — a fee equal to 19.9% of ad spend. Scale: €899/mo, recommended up to €10,000/mo — about 9.0% of ad spend. Scale Pro: €1,899/mo, recommended up to €50,000/mo — about 3.8% of ad spend. These figures come directly from Amanda AI's published pricing page; the percentages are our own arithmetic, not a claim Amanda AI makes.
At Pilot, the €199/mo fee is measured against a hard cap of €1,000/mo — Amanda AI's own copy says "ad spend limited to," not "recommended," making 19.9% a ceiling case you could actually hit. Push the math further: a small business commonly tests paid ads at €300–500/mo, well under that cap. At €300/mo in ad spend, a €199/mo software fee is 66% on top of the media budget — nearly doubling the total cost of the campaign for the automation alone.
This is not a defect unique to Amanda AI — most paid-ad management software, agency retainers included, is most efficient at scale and least efficient at the bottom. The tier design here is at least honest about where that break-even sits, once the division is done. It means the product is not aimed at a buyer without meaningful ad spend already committed.
At google.com/partners/agency?id=4834493995, Amanda AI is listed as a verified Google Partner. Google states Amanda AI has maintained an optimization score of at least 70%, has spent at least $10,000 USD on ad spend in the trailing 90 days, and has stated it has at least 6 Account Strategists with at least half Google Ads certified.
This is a genuine, independently issued verification, not a badge image pasted onto a homepage. It is worth reading precisely, though: Google's Partner program has a "Premier Partner" tier reserved for roughly the top 3% of partners, and this listing shows no Premier badge. The $10,000-over-90-days spend threshold is a qualifying minimum, trivial for an agency managing 1,800+ accounts, and Google's own page adds: "Certain aspects of this business may be self-reported by the company, such as the name and number of Account Strategists." Real verification, genuinely worth something, and not the same claim as "top-tier."
For a company operating since 2018 with 500+ claimed customers, the review trail is thin. G2 lists a product called "Amanda" — but it is an unrelated content-moderation platform from a company called Aiba, not amandaai.com. Capterra and Software Advice both show Amanda AI listings with zero reviews. We could not find a Trustpilot page. The only independent signal is three reviews on the Shopify App Store, all five stars, though two of the three were posted after roughly an hour and seven minutes of use respectively.
Buy Amanda AI if you already spend €5,000–10,000+/mo on ads and want one dashboard across Google, Meta and Bing with a verified Google Partner behind the account. Look elsewhere, at least for now, if you are a solopreneur or small business spending under roughly €1,000/mo — the software fee can rival or exceed the ad spend itself — or if you want more independent proof than three Shopify reviews before committing.
Altheo does not compete with Amanda AI directly: we build organic traffic (technical SEO, content, links, conversion) rather than running paid campaigns, and several tools are free with no account. Paid ads can produce volume faster than organic ever will, and a business with real ad budget may reasonably run both. But for a solopreneur or small business without committed ad spend, which describes most of the businesses we hear from, organic is very often the more realistic starting point.
Amanda AI publishes its pricing, which is unusual for this category. Pilot is €199/mo with ad spend capped at €1,000/mo and 1 project; Scale is €899/mo with a recommended ad spend up to €10,000/mo and 4 projects; Scale Pro is €1,899/mo with a recommended ad spend up to €50,000/mo and 6 projects; Enterprise is custom, aimed at agencies and large businesses. Annual billing is discounted (Amanda AI advertises "2 months off"). All prices are in EUR and exclude the ad spend itself, which is paid separately to Google, Meta or Bing.
Usually not, on the numbers Amanda AI itself publishes. The Pilot plan costs €199/mo and caps ad spend at €1,000/mo, which means the software fee alone is up to 19.9% of the entire ad budget it allows — before Google or Meta take their share. For a smaller business spending a few hundred euros a month on ads, which is common, the software cost can rival or exceed the ad spend itself. The ratio only becomes reasonable at higher tiers: it falls to roughly 9% of ad spend at Scale (€899 on up to €10,000) and under 4% at Scale Pro (€1,899 on up to €50,000). This is not a defect unique to Amanda AI — most paid-ad-management software has the same shape — but it does mean the product is built for a buyer with real media budget behind it, not a business just starting to test paid ads.
Yes, and it is checkable directly at google.com/partners/agency?id=4834493995. That verification confirms Amanda AI maintained at least a 70% optimization score, spent at least $10,000 USD in the trailing 90 days managing client ad accounts, and has at least 6 Account Strategists with at least half of them Google Ads certified. Worth reading precisely, though: this is the standard "Google Partner" tier, not "Premier Partner" (reserved for roughly the top 3% of partners by scale and performance), the $10,000/90-day spend bar is a low threshold for an agency-scale operation, and Google's own page notes that some of the reported details, including the company name and strategist count, are self-reported.
Very little, which is notable for a company operating since 2018 with a claimed 500+ businesses and 1,800+ ad accounts. We found no G2 listing that matches the product — the "Amanda" listing on G2 is an unrelated content-moderation tool from a different company called Aiba. Amanda AI has a Capterra listing with zero reviews and a Software Advice profile with zero reviews. We could not find a Trustpilot page at all. The only independent signal is three reviews on the Shopify App Store, all five stars, but two of the three were posted after roughly an hour and seven minutes of actually using the app, which limits how much weight they can carry.
It is positioned to, and its own case studies suggest it can for some businesses: Löplabbet moved its advertising off an agency desk and into Amanda AI's platform, and reported revenue growing nearly three times faster than spend. Whether that generalizes depends heavily on account complexity and how much strategic input a business still wants from a human. Every plan includes "digital support" and an onboarding call, and higher tiers add a dedicated Customer Success Manager, so Amanda AI is not purely self-serve software — there is a service layer behind it, priced into the higher tiers.
Amanda AI was founded in 2018 by Torkel Öhman and Göran Palm. The company reports 500+ businesses using the platform across 1,800+ ad accounts, 50+ countries and 4 continents. Its published case studies name recognizable clients, including Toyota Denmark (car sales up 17% year over year, conversions up 65%, ad spend down 20%) and a joint case study with L'Oréal and WPP Media on connecting paid and organic search. That is a longer operating history and more identifiable customer base than most AI marketing tools we have reviewed.
Amanda AI's homepage advertises "Weekly AI reports — written by Claude," describing a weekly performance deep-dive covering keywords, competition, budget decisions and strategic takeaways. We have not audited the output ourselves, but naming the specific model doing the writing, rather than a vague "AI-generated," is a more transparent claim than most vendors make about their AI features — Claude is Anthropic's model family, and specifying which vendor is a checkable claim rather than marketing language.
They sit on opposite sides of the same budget. Amanda AI runs and optimizes paid campaigns — you pay Amanda AI a software fee and separately pay Google, Meta or Bing for every click, and results stop the moment either payment stops. Altheo works the organic side: technical SEO, on-page content, off-page authority, social and conversion, aimed at getting a business found and read without buying the traffic, and several tools are free with no account. Neither replaces the other outright — paid ads can produce volume faster than organic ever will, and a business with real ad budget may reasonably run both. But for a solopreneur or small business without €1,000+/mo to spend on ads before software fees, which describes most of the businesses we hear from, organic is very often the more realistic starting point, and it is what Altheo is built for.
